About Mitchell
Mitchell is Psychologist who adopts a warm and friendly approach with an aim to make you feel safe, heard and understood whilst working towards meaningful change. Mitchell understands therapy is not a one-size fits all. She provides evidence-based interventions tailored to suit individual needs; whether through structured therapy, a more relaxed conversational approach or a mixture of both.
Mitchell has experience working with a range of mental health presentations in children, adolescents, adults and older adults. Mitchell’s experience has spanned between private practice, the not-for-profit sector and the aged-care setting.
Mitchell has a flexible approach to therapy and addressing a client’s needs. Mitchell primarily utilises Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) whilst drawing upon techniques from Schema Therapy; Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT); Solution-Focused Therapy as well as Supportive and Exploratory Psychotherapy

- Bachelor of Psychological Science
- Graduate Diploma of Psychology Advanced
- Australian Psychology Society Associate member
